For Consolidators & Private Equity

You can buy firms faster than you can turn them into one business.

Every acquisition adds a CRM, a platform, a charging structure and ten years of free-text notes. We show you what’s really in a book before you sign, then land every firm you buy on one operating model.

Co-founded by Dave Howard, former CTO of Novia Financial, and Rob Duncan. Each service starts with a fixed-price first step.

What We Hear

Four different complaints. One underlying problem.

“Every deal lands somewhere different. We’re on multiple CRMs, platforms and adviser tools.”

Missing: a target.

“We asked four vendors for one client view across the firms we’ve bought. None of them sell it.”

Missing: the software between your systems.

“Cost per client hasn’t moved since firm number four.”

Missing: a measured operation.

“Asset transfer and platform rationalisation is an uphill battle, and moving a book takes one to three years.”

Missing: client data you can evidence and shift.

The underlying problem: nobody ever decided what the group was supposed to look like, or gave the firms you bought a compelling reason to adopt it.

Why It Hasn’t Been Fixed

Three reasons the seams stay yours to own.

  1. ConsultancyArchitecture review
  2. Software houseBuild
  3. RPA vendorAutomation programme
  4. PlatformMigration
  1. Nobody sells all four. Four suppliers, four views of your data, and the seams are yours to own.

  2. It competes with the next deal for the same twelve people. Your integration team and your deal team are the same team. The deal always wins.

  3. It’s invisible until you own it. Financial DD audits the accounts. Nobody audits the client data, field by field.

What It Costs

The uncomfortable arithmetic.

  1. At the dealYou pay a full multiple for a book you can’t evidence with precision — no price chips, nothing to hang a warranty on.
  2. During integrationThe remediation bill is real and unpriced. The synergy line in the model doesn’t land, because cost per client is never measured before or after. The migration you scheduled for three to six months takes years.
  3. At exitIntegration risk is the first thing a buyer prices.
Exactly What We Do

We design your target operating model, build the parts that don’t exist, run the operation on it, and move every firm you buy onto it.

Four interlocking products, each starting with a fixed-price first step — so every firm you buy becomes part of one business, and each deal costs less to integrate than the last.

Why One Firm Rather Than Four

The evidence loops.

  • One data model, agreed once and used by all four. You never pay a second supplier to rediscover your estate, and there is never a second version of the client record to argue about.
  • The measurement from Run tells Direct what to change and Build what to build.
  • Each acquisition lands on the same spine, so deal fifteen is cheaper than deal five.

Questions We Get Asked

Plain answers, no dodging.

So you’re a migration shop?

Migration is usually where we start, normally with data due diligence. What makes us different is that we automate the advice cycle as well as move the assets. Rapid batched migration will not get traction with advisers unless you can prove every step of the process is automated — without that, you default to migrating client by client at review cycles.

Isn’t four services just a consultancy in disguise?

A consultancy sells you people. We sell four interlocking products, each starting with a fixed-price first step, designed to deliver all the capability you need rather than one part of it.

Our DD firm already covers this.

They audit the financials. We audit the client data — coverage, quality and lineage at field level, including the unstructured sources: fact finds, cashflow models, risk profiles and other KYC. That is how we can tell you what automated remediation will actually fix in your CRM, before you commit to it.

We already have an architecture.

Good starting point. We use it as the baseline and contrast it with our layered model, which is built to maximise interoperability, cut total cost of ownership and keep your data mastered across the core and surrounding systems — which is what protects the valuation.

You’re a small team.

Small on purpose. Where scale is genuinely required, we run it and your people stay with clients.

The Ask

Start with whichever one hurts most.

A 60-minute call, no fee, nothing to prepare. If it goes anywhere, pick one fixed-price first step and decide what happens next on what it shows.
